Juana Macías

She has won a Goya in 2000 for his short film “Siete cafés por semana” and has been nominated for Best New Director in 2010 with his debut “Planes para mañana” A film for which he also won, among other awards, the Silver Biznaga for Best Director and Best Screenplay novel (Malaga Film Festival), the Award for Best Director (Spring Film Lorca) and CEC Medal Revelation 2010.
In addition to these awards, he has received over 50 national awards for his feature and short Films. Also, has been selected in the Official Selection at festivals around the world.

Since 1996 he has worked as a screenwriter and director of documentaries, commercials, and music videos for clients such as Renfe, Ono, Madrid City Council, the Institute for Women, Dove, Rexona, Disney Channel, Canal Pand, and Ausonia.
He has taught film directing, directing actors and griten at the University Francisco de Vitoria, Spanish Broadcasting Institute and other centers of audiovisual training college.
